Designing a space is all about creating memorable moments. Good design has the ability to enhance the experience of people occupying the space; whether that is to dwell, work, eat or relax. A good design can increase the income for a business, positively influence the mood and promote productive workflow. Design factors such as colour, light and flow effect how a space is sub-consciously engaged with, used and enjoyed.

This is how I start every design project; how can we design this to ensure the user experience is at maximum capacity to guarantee enjoyment and viability within the environment?

Having previously studied Business (Advertising) and Fine Arts (Visual Art), I am committed to understanding a brand and their target audience before delving into the design of their new (or restructured) space. Transitioning from this into my interior design studies seemed to work hand-in-hand in working with creative thinking processes and human-centered design.

I understand the importance of being personable and building rapport with clients through my roles in the retail and administration sectors. Previous leadership roles have taught me to be responsible, organised and most importantly, work with a team of people to achieve the best results.
